out of your hands
Crutchfield: *Upon seeing Sherman Krader has a rifle at the ready and Ernest hasn't budged* Look out, Ernest! Get out of the way! *Krader takes aim at Ernest*
Nurse St. Cloud's voice: If he had faith in the Great One, the knife would not cut him. *Krader fires, but it looks like he missed*
Blatz: He missed. I can't believe he missed! *Krader moves forward a couple of steps, and takes aim again*
Nurse St. Cloud's voice: If he had courage, true courage, the rock would not break him. *Krader fires again, but misses. He moves even closer and takes aim again* If the brave was pure of heart, the arrow could not catch him. *Krader fires again, but misses. He moves to point-blank range and takes aim - Ernest sticks his finger into the barrel of Krader's rifle*
Ernest: Paper, rock, scissors. *Grins widely, Krader looks surprised*
Blatz: Looks like this one's out of your hands, Krader. *Krader drops his rifle, Ernest laughs mockingly, then the Second Chance kids as well as Brooks and Pennington burst into cheers. Krader beats a hasty retreat to his car as Nurse St. Cloud comes driving up in the camp station wagon flanked by a couple of cop cars*
Nurse St. Cloud: *Waves a piece of paper in the air* We got it! We got it! The judge issued a restraining order!

While Christmas and Jail were highly entertaining, the sequels never really lived up to the original Ernest does something movie EGTC forever.
